Mandala Healing Oracle - by Denise Jarvie. Artwork by Lindy Longhurst Does the same thing keep happening in your life?
We are creatures of habit, so we may notice recurring patterns in our lives, those familiar thoughts and beliefs that play out in our daily way of living. When those patterns don’t match our values or are not our truth, they will attract negative situations. We know we are repeating patterns when we hear ourselves say ‘“That always happens”, “Why does that always happen to me?” or “I don’t understand why that thing happened again”. Once a pattern is acknowledged and understood, it will transform; however, until then it will continue to repeat. How do we get rid of that feeling we're going around the mountain again and again?

This morning I was allowed to be part of an amazing conversation, facilitated by Jerome Lamarque, that led me to recognise how we are controlled by our inner dragon. We can all relate to what this may be in our life, the stories, the conditioning, the imprinting we believe we cannot change. However, this is a myth. Our inner dragon can be our source of power to live authentically, rather than the dragon that weighs us down, draining us of a life we 'wish' we could live, and the person we believe we'll never become.
Living your truth as a woman is a revolutionary act of self-love in a world that constantly gives the illusion that women should be someone other than their true selves. Seeing women unapologetically enjoying their femininity is profoundly beautiful and empowering. It’s not about fitting into a preconceived notion or societal mould; it's about being authentic and feeling free to be as your true self. It’s living in a way that honours, loves and respects your mind, your body, and your sense of purpose in the world.
Many women struggle to live their truth, and yet other women are choosing to create change that's transforming their lives. They are finding the courage to express themselves, to acknowledge their unique gifts and talents, and to prioritise their wellbeing. No longer do they see the relevance of living as a mere shadow of their true magnificence. Have you ever felt like a fake? Or have you become accustomed to being the person you think others want you to be? What would happen if you made the decision to embrace your true essence?
Living a life where we feel the need to change our true nature, adapt our preferences to the needs of others, or feel at the mercy of our desire to be approved of, can lead to a life of misery, stress and anxiety. The alternative means to live a life as our true and authentic self. But what if this becomes all too confronting, knowing that to actually express our truth, prioritise our wellbeing, and say 'no' to others could create some chaos, conflict and disapproval from others? Are you feeling exhausted, mentally and emotionally drained, and 'couldn't-care' uninspired? Finding the energy to feel enthusiastic about life can feel impossible when our energy reserves are empty! This feels especially true when we collapse at the end of a hectic year, reflect on what went wrong, what passed as okay, and then promise ourselves to do better and give more in the new year!
Where did we get the idea that this is good for us, good for others, and the best path to happiness and wellbeing? When we've been in the habit of running our life at adrenaline-paced speed, giving all of our time, energy and resources to family, business commitments, friends, school or social committees, it's a sign we've lost control of our personal boundaries and failed to recognise the importance of prioritizing our wellbeing. Spiritual and emotional distress can take a hold when we disconnect from the needs of our body, and we don't know how to take care of our mental and emotional wellbeing. If nourishing ourselves has not been something we do regularly, where do we start to make improvements? The first step towards restoring ourself to wellness and vitality, is to clear old stagnant energy and establish better routines. We can do this by implementing some simple daily habits to restore our energy, for improved mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. Here are 4 simple things I do that could help you. They don't require big changes to your life, and they provide immediate benefits. This week a scary experience left me with the clear message that the greatest love I can give myself is to listen to my body, and my inner guidance. Without warning, I received a phone call that shook me to my core, and let me know not to be complacent about my health, my choices, or the time I have in my life to do better and be a better version of myself. I realised that life is too short and I no longer wanted to take my health for granted, or waste another day not making myself a priority! I feel like a prisoner in my own world, and I don't know how to get free.
Discover what becomes our ultimate killer! Why does it matter what I think in the privacy of my thoughts? What does it matter what I believe?
Discover how powerful you can become when you choose your thoughts, what you focus on, and how you can attract what you really want in life! The transformational process of spiritual growth can feel excruciating at times, as we struggle in our own shadows, fearful of the change and mindful we don’t want the rest of the world to know what we are going through. Most people believe pain and struggle is something bad and to be avoided. However, the ‘process’ of transformation is as important as the new version of who we become.
