Have you ever noticed how easy it is to get "caught up" in your own mind? Lately, I’ve been reflecting on those moments when we find ourselves endlessly analysing, trying to work everything out, and searching for a direction that feels 100% certain before we take a single step. We want clarity and we want to move forward. But the more we think, the more it feels like we’re just circling the same spot, unable to catch our breath or feel truly settled. In those moments, it’s easy to feel like something is wrong! We tell ourselves we should be further along by now, or that we should be able to navigate these transitions with more ease. Inside we feel an inner pressure, a doubt that we’re letting ourselves down or simply not doing enough to get unstuck. Liberation feels different. We often talk about transformation as if it’s another project on our to-do list, and the thought of needing to ‘change’ ourselves can feel like hard work. Perhaps there’s a hint of self-judgment - that where we are today is not okay. Language is powerful, and the meaning we give words can carry emotional weight and energy. I’ve noticed that when I speak of ‘liberation’, rather than transformation, it feels different. There’s a lightness to it, and a sense of relief - of letting go what I was never meant to carry. It’s a gift of freedom, like dropping the heavy bags, unhooking the tethers, and walking away from the noise. Liberation begins when we allow ourselves to stop. Not to "solve" the problem, but to simply ‘be’. When we step away from the mental treadmill, we can return to a quieter space where the body can finally soften. It’s in this stillness that the shift happens. Not because you’ve suddenly figured it all out, but because you’ve finally created the space to listen again. In that stillness, you realise you’re not stuck as you once believed, and your ‘confusion’ has been a temporary disconnection from your own inner guidance. The ‘awareness’ is the choice to liberate yourself from what you were never meant to carry. You Are the One You’ve Been Waiting For We often spend this stage of our lives looking for something external to change our situation - a new opportunity, a shift in circumstances, or a "sign" from the world that it’s finally okay to relax. But the most empowering truth is this: You don't need to wait for the world to liberate you. You don’t need the kids to settle, the job to change, or the institutions around you to give you a permission slip. Liberation is not something granted to you; it is something you allow. I often think of the genie - that ancient symbol of a power that can transform circumstances and manifest a new reality in an instant. The truth is, you are that genie. You are the conscious creator of your life through what you think, what you believe, and what you intend. It isn’t just about surface-level thoughts; it is about the intensity of your focus and the depth of the emotions you carry. When you shift your internal state, the world around you has no choice but to meet you there. As the "Genie" of your own life, you have the power to decide how you want to show up. You have the capacity to:
This is where your quiet liberation unfolds. You aren't just changing your schedule; you are reclaiming your power to create a life that actually feels like yours. My invitation for you - Don't look for the perfect answer. Just allow yourself a pause. Be still for a moment and gently return to yourself. You were never without direction. You were simply being invited to come home to the one who has the power to create it - and that’s You. Rebecca Gabrielle
