And so, I said "yes"!

​Several years ago I made the courageous decision to step away from my somewhat normal and seemingly perfect life to acknowledge that I was not really happy. For a long time I had felt a strong calling in the depths of my being to honour my true self and to face my fears. I knew I felt discontentment and conflict within my soul, but I did not have the words or the wisdom to understand why, only the call to question my identity, my purpose and my intentions.

I had every reason to feel incredible fear and in-trepidation about moving away from my family, my marriage and all that everyone else knew me to be. I was facing rejection and isolation from those whom I loved. However, the gnawing feeling and sadness within would not go away, and the thought of continuing a life of deception for myself was not a palatable option.

And so, I said ‘YES’.

I stepped into the unknown and I began an inner pilgrimage that lead me to depths that I was not prepared for. I experienced pain, mental anguish, emotional suffering, and a lot of soul-searching. Over time I weaved my way through a path of many obstacles where I experienced a great deal of confusion, however there were also moments of inspiration and joy of having my heart and soul cracked wide open.

Over time I became more adept at navigating the storms within, and with the help of Divine support, I found my way through personal transformation that changed me forever. My evolution is not one of perfection, but something I can fondly call a ‘work in progress’. I believe we are forever learning and growing, and as soul-beings, we are here to experience the contrasts of life and the soul lessons we need so we can move closer to the experience of Divine Love and spiritual freedom.

“The Power of Soul Loving” was born from my personal experiences of transformation, and years of research and soul-searching. My story is not special or outstanding above anyone else, which is precisely what makes it real and relatable. However the wisdom gained and the insights shared will have a profound effect if you also choose to say ‘yes’ to the call of your Soul.
